Ruffled Feathers

One of my greatest concerns when I started this blog was that I did not want to offend anyone. I knew that there were going to be some issues that I would talk about that might be uncomfortable but not really offend. Well...yesterday on my way home my phone beeped. I looked over at it and it was an e-mail. An e-mail from a response to my blog. That is usually something I enjoy reading. It is like getting a nice pick me up from a family member. Nothing like an encouraging word or just a hello...but last night it was different. I had offended someone. I had offended someone that was anonymous. I had no way to say I was sorry personally. The only way I could respond was to respond to Anonymous' comment on my blog page where he/she had responded. As of now I have left the response on my blog because I wanted to be able to respond to it. I am sorry if you have come up on this response and it has offended you. It will be gone in a day or two and then from that point on I will no longer take anonymous comments.

The comment that was made to me really hurt. I don't know if you can understand how much I love the kids I work with now and have worked with in the past. When I see kids excited about the Lord I see our future and their futures being bright. I will not be taking these pictures off my blog. I feel like all of the pictures that are on here are part of my life.

If you are the one that I offended and would like to contact me please do.

God is so Good!

I read all your posts and I cannot figure out what you would have said that offended someone!
I do know, from other blogs, that there are people out there looking to cause problems. And they always remain anonymous. So wait and see if someone responds. I'd be curious to find out if it's really someone who follows you like we do!!!

Debbie, some people are just unhappy and stike out at anyone. Joel Osteen said something last Sunday about pleasing people. Unfortunately, I don't remember the percentages, but the bottom line was not to waste your time trying to please the small percentage of people who aren't going to like you no matter what you do. Just chalk it up to someone having a bad day or a bad attitude.
