Your Grace is Enough!

Your grace is enough...now really think about that statement. Is it? Are we willing to give up parts of our everyday life that make us happy to do what HE asks us to do? This is kind of a follow up on my "Be Still" challenge to myself. I love that song "Your Grace is Enough" but the more I listened the more I said to myself, "I am not living this way." Your (Jesus') grace is enough! He died on the cross to appease all of the sin in the world and I have a problem with turning over the problems that I face daily. I think that most of us have this problem sometimes due to us thinking that whatever is going on is not big enough to bother God with. Well if we could just get that out of our minds and realize that if we will just build a relationship with God we can tell Him about everything. Good days, So-so days, Bad days, Spectacular days...He wants to be a part of all of them. He is that best friend that we have longed for, the friend that listens even when we ramble on and on, the friend that is there in the middle of the night, the friend that is there when there is sickness and best of all he is here when we have something good to share with Him.

And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. - II Corinthians 12:9

Grace enables me to make it, no matter what. No matter who turns against me, no matter what obstacles I face, no matter how many times I fail. God's amazing grace is there to pick me up. It is never not enough and it never runs out. It never goes bad. So the question is "How am I going to make God's grace real in my life? First and foremost I need to trust Him to work things out. I need to stop working my self silly trying to fix things myself. I also need to be aware of His Spirit and where He is leading.

I must "Be Still" and realize that "HIS grace is sufficient."

God is so Good!
