Joy to Sadness

Last night I sat down and wrote a blog about Koby and how he was going to be coming home today. I had received a text from his mommy. Courtney was so excited. Little did we know that less than twelve hours later we would be mourning the loss of Koby's daddy. Jeremy died last night in an accident. On a day that was to bring such joy we are struggling. Please pray!

Debbie, there are no words.

Sweet Jesus, please minister to this dear, hurting family in their moment of shock and grief. This is not a surprise to you and I trust you to minister as only you can. Wrap your arms of love and peace around them. Please heal their broken hearts. Keep Koby strong and give your strength to his mommy.

Love and prayers continuously. ~Sara

Job said this, "Though you slay me, yet I will praise you" and, in all my awfulness, it is hard to understand how he was able to do that but Job was right. My prayer for you and Kenny and Jan is that you, like Job, will be given just what you need just when you need it and are able to praise Him through and in this and that that in itself will be a testimony to others and that they might come to know Him based in some part on what they see in you.

We all hurt so very deeply for you and your family. Please, please, please let us know of anything that we might be able to do for you.

Dear Debbie, I was so sorry to read of your family's dreadful loss. I doubt that I have any words of comfort that I can offer you - but know that we are all keeping you and your family in our prayers tonight, and praying that somehow you will know some comfort from the One who can.

Debbie I don't know you or your family, but I do know that God instructs us to pray for all those in need. I just wanted you to know I will be praying for you and the family during this sad time. We don't know why these things happen like they do, but we do know we have someone greater than any problem that we can go to and lean on during these times. I pray peace and comfort for you all.
