My motivation for me this week came from the sermon that Brother John laid out before us this past Sunday morning. We have been going through a 13 week series on Providence Values. This has been a great series and very informative as well. This weeks service was titled "Missional Living."

16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." - Matthew 28:16-20

We are commanded to "Go and make disciples of all nations" It is hard to go and make if we are not out there with the lost. Bro. John made a statement that really stuck with me. He said, " We need some heathen friends!" Yes having christian friends around you is wonderful but once their saved their saved. If we are to go and "MAKE" disciples we have to be around the lost. Wow! This is part of my mission to "BE" the church not just sit inside the four walls and be poured into. This is another lesson in "BE THE FUNNEL!!!!"

Go check out the sermons in this series they are great! Providence Baptist Fellowship

Have a blessed week!

This was spoken at our church last night. We are instructed to go and teach and baptize. Great post. Great minds think alike, huh? Makes you wonder if God is trying to tell us all something during this troubled time we're living in. Thanks for sharing!!!

When I worked as a youth sponsor I always told the kids that they need to "Live in the world, but not of it." It is so important that we are out in the world that we live in, not just cuddled up in our safe-houses. But, we must not lose who we are in Christ. Great post! Thanks!
