What an amazing day. I never thought I would say that about this particular day. Koby went into to surgery early. There were three major surgeries that were to be done. All of them had been done many times but all three of them at the same time was very unusual. The surgery started about 8 am and ended around 6 pm. Every couple of hours there would be a phone call to let the family know how things were going. Every time a call came it got a little better. Each procedure was being accomplished and they were moving on to the next. When we got the final word that all of the procedures had been done and Koby was doing well you physically felt a sigh of relief all over the room. There were tears...but praise God they were tears of relief and joy. This is the first huge hurdle. Keep praying for Koby he has many days, weeks and months ahead of him that will be difficult but after the miracles that I saw performed today I know that God is in control and He has not let this little one go through all of this for nothing.
This morning I put the verse 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 in my post. Verse 18 says, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." When I put this verse in this morning I was not so sure how I felt about it. I knew that praying without ceasing was good but this give thanks for everything?? After today I know why we are to give thanks for all circumstances. Everything that is put in our path and we go through is for His GLORY. Even in the difficult times God will bless us. Amen!!
God is so Good!

Everything is for His glory, even the hard times! I'm so happy the surgery went well. I'll keep praying for your whole family and the hard days ahead of them!
Praise the Lord for the good report!
