Our First Easter!

This past Sunday was our first Easter at Providence Baptist Fellowship. Oh, how special this day was and yes...I did cry. We started the morning with a fellowship with our family. A lot of good food, conversation, smiles, laughs and warm hugs.

Our Easter Service started with the Choir singing "Were You There" It was beautiful. Wow! did God Bless Us! They showed a video by Sara Evans and Brad Paisley titled "New Again" if you have not seen this check it out on You Tube or you can see it here on my blog. I don't think there was a dry eye in the sanctuary. Our hearts were being prepared for the message Brother John was fixing to bring. His message was wonderful. It was out of 1 Timothy.

14 Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, 15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. 16 Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great:

He appeared in a body,

was vindicated by the Spirit,

was seen by angels,

was preached among the nations,

was believed on in the world,

was taken up in glory.
1 Timothy 3:14-16
