The past two Sunday's have been amazing. Bro. Joe has been leading us in a study through the book of Acts. I have found that I love studying line by line through the books of the Bible. The title of this study is "ORGANIC CHURCH A Study Though Acts." Bro. Joe has given us a list of non-negotiables and I thought I would share them with you. If you get a chance go by and listen at Providence Baptist Fellowship.

Non-Negotiables of an Organic Church
  1. Trust God's Plan for the Church

  2. Be Filled with the Holy Spirit

  3. Have God's Heart for the Nations

  4. Point People to Jesus

  5. Preach the Word

  6. Evangelize Neighbors and Nations

  7. Be Devoted to Teaching

  8. Live in True Fellowship

  9. Be Marked by Joy

  10. Be a Worshipping Church

The Fellowship of the Believers (the first Church) 42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. - Acts 2:42-47

Wow! What a powerful group of verses.

God is so Good!

Hey there! I had no idea you were part of an organic church (maybe I read it at some point but forgot?). We've been feeling God moving us in a new direction and out of the mainstream status quo. We've currently in a home church but have been researching organic and family integrated churches as well. So glad your experience has been positive. God is good!

Love to you this week and as always am praying for your family!

I think it's wonderful that you are moving around each week and chatting with new people. It's good to get out of "the zone", and you never know who might be blessed by being in your presence!

God Bless!
